RRGSA’s Annual Kids Fishing Derby – 6/27

SCHEDULE AND RULES
Location: RRGSA Clubhouse Campus located at 41 Old Skiway Rd, Oquossoc, ME
Registration: Begins at 8 am. Each Child participating must register, and Parents/guardians must sign a Media/Photo release.
Ages: Three categories:
- 4-6, may be assisted by Parents.
- 7-9, must fish on their own.
- 10–15, must fish on their own.
Gear:
- Rods, Reels, Bait provided.
- NO LURES.
- Children may use their own Rods.
Fishing Schedule:
- 4-6’s fish from 9 am to 9:30 am. All fish caught will be tallied.
- 7-9’s fish from 9:45 am to 10:15 am. All fish caught will be tallied.
- 10-15’s fish from 10:30 am to 11am. All fish caught will be tallied.
Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to each age group for the Biggest Fish caught.
ALSO;
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded for the most fish by total accumulated length for each age group.
Prizes: Each Child participating will receive a free T-Shirt. Also, prizes will be given based on ticket drawing for free fishing gear: rods and reels, lures, gear, hats, and gift certificates. etc.
One Lifetime Free Fishing License will be awarded to a lucky winner.
FREE Hot Dogs, Drinks, Chips, and Snacks will be available to all Children.
